Kin Rewards Engine - Request for Comments View this email in your browser

Hello!

We’re excited to announce that the Kin Rewards Engine request for comments (RFC) document has now been published on kin.kik.com.

As stated in the Kin whitepaper, the goal of the Kin cryptocurrency is to create an alternative ecosystem of digital services that is compelling for consumers, and fair and open for developers. The Kin Rewards Engine, an innovative economic structure that will promote the use of Kin as a common currency, aims to do just that.

The RFC document is a first draft and specifically looks at how fair and resistant the Rewards Engine is to abuse and economic vulnerabilities inherent in a decentralized network context. In the near future, we will also publish an RFC document on the transaction and identity layers that will describe the protocol for making transactions and a decentralized identity management solutions in the Kin Ecosystem.

Please download the Kin Rewards Engine RFC document and leave your comments and questions in our our Github repository, our Telegram #technology channel, or our subreddit (r/KinFoundation).

Download the Kin Rewards Engine RFC As previously announced, due to security reasons, we are migrating the Kin Slack community to Telegram. The Kin Slack channel will officially close on Monday, October 30, 9:00 a.m. ET. We look forward to connecting with you on Telegram!

@DavidStodolsky I think I need a smartphone (with an actual phone number) to use Telegram. when I get to Mexico in about 2 weeks I'll look into adding a SIM card to one of these BLU phones.

Telegram is available for the desktop, but requires the phone for setup. There may be a way around this https://theintercept.com/2017/09/28/signal-tutorial-second-phone-number/
