Yea yea... don't thank nor credit me, credit the package. And do it on places like Reddit. When someone asks for help in choosing a package, speak up with your experience. You've actually DONE something. 99% of the people that recommend Qt have never written a line of Qt code.
It's super helpful to other people following behind you to know what you did and how long it took. That kind of "wisdom" is what is missing from the internet. People don't post their experiences very often. They are more likely to ask for help, get the help, and then not post the results back in the thread where the help was asked. All these people help out, but the result is never really known.
So, if you really wanna help, that is how you help. One person at a time is how the world is spread 😏
(seriously though, I do desire to remain anonymous... it's not about me, it's about the work. I'm out to change Python.)
Make a big deal in your readme about how....
trivial is was to write the code. It practically wrote itself. And I felt this feeling I've never had before.... a was an intense mixture of physical joy and logical satisfaction at completing a GUI in such a short amount of time with the beautiful results achieved."
LMAO
OK, You don't have to be dramatic, but people really don't quite get it until they've done it. It would be nice if people knew to try it and not have to wait for so long before finally figuring it out.
You could also mentioned trying and liking the Qt version, just don't do it in a way that trashes the tkinter version 😃
Danke, will do, I am certainly recommending it to my python using buddies and anyone who needs to prototype an UI quickly 👍
Just came across your code and saw you're using the base64 animated popups.
Wanting to make sure it's all working out for you as it's a relatively new capability.
