Just imagine if the atari 2600,the atari 5200,atari 7800,vic20,C64 and the intelevision could also be emulated on the snes, this since those cpu chips from those systems are 65X code based just like the snes cpu(apart from potential unsupported opcodes and different address register locations wich should be converted and/or line up with the snes cpu),but the graphics micht be just emulatible as easy trough snes mode 2 while for audio those psg audio channels needs to be digitised as well, but just like nested it should need sram to learn stuff from those games to combine them later on once reconverting those games into snes format, too bad we aren’t allowed to distribute those generated srm files online,

now why would i ever want to play those games from rival systems of the nes on snes i hear you r wonder, well in order to prove the higher potential capabilities of the snes, and to bring nintendo games from those platform systems,to the console were it belonges to,a nintendo console, note; that popeye, donkeykong and dkjr on the atari 7800 and c64 are much much better conversions from the arcade then the nes version, now i don’t ever think someby will ever stand up to give it a try and sadly i got no programming skills whatsoever,BUT am sure such emulators for the snes (if possible) could open up new possibilities on the snes to unleash the real power of the snes, also because no matter how impressive snes games were,i don’t thing the 65c816 cpu of the snes was ever pushed that far,no,in fact i readed that most game devs just decided to use 8bit code (wich originates from their nes games) to port over to the snes for their sequels of games and extend on that, since it was easier ,cheaper & faster rather then having to rewrite the code from scratch, also the used lorom prevented games to fully utilize the snes cpu clock speed, only the ppu chip were mostly fully utilized and the soundchip was mostly poorly utilized, but with such potential emulators we can fully utilize the snes capabilities like never before as seen with nested, that would be awsome.

Don't distribute srm files, they contain some original code since v1.4. Load them into a profile and distribute the profile. Yes, you can load multiple srm of the same game into a profile. Profiles are forward and backward compatible, srm files are not.
