Since you mentioned on your petreon that you would move on to other projects thus deciding to stop for good on nested (unless getting heavily paid),so i tout this is the end for once and for all(also since you had already reached your goal of it to get atleast 50% of nes games compatible with it,(and eventrough the mmc3 hacked version of castlevania 3 does partially work on nested wich is a huge step forward to be excited about it but it's said that mmc5 games aren't yet supported)
BUT then to my astonishment,i saw all the sudden to my big surprise nested 1.8 with yet limited support for the neses 5th soundchannel (dmc format) ,so i tried it and am suprised with the results,
so am wondering,
1,did you recontinued the nested project or did somebody else took over it??
2,does the yet limited support of the dmc channel has something to do with that the snes soundchip could only yet convert dmc samples to it’s brr format and not yet support dpcm, adpcm or pcm audio?
3,or does the full support for nes soundchannel 5 to redigitise all sound samples from every supported nes game into brr format,(why i yet don’t hear any voices from whether game i tried? )
Or does it has to do something with bankswitching? Because so far i do know bankswitching for soundchannel 5 is yet not supported???
