Extra Utilities 2’s sandy glass behaving strangely with Blockcraftery blocks #68

General Information

Describe the bug: One of the framed stairs I placed doesn’t work properly with the sandy glass block from the mod Extra Utilities 2.

A few days ago when I first placed these stairs, they worked fine with the sandy glass, but when I returned later, most of them looked like stone bricks. I replaced all of them with sandy glass just fine, but this last one is still broken no matter how many time I try to replace it. If I place the stair in a different orientation, such as upside down, it works fine.

I realized that this always happens if it’s a stair placed in this orientation. If I place it in a different direction, it looks good from the right angle but looks like stone bricks from a different angle. Some of the sides of the sandy glass appears as stone brick sometimes, but only when placed in a Blockcraftery block, not when placed by itself.

This also happens to other Blockcraftery blocks, such as slabs and slants.

To Reproduce:

  1. With Blockcraftery and Extra Utilities 2 installed, place framed stairs (or another Blockcraftery block).
  2. Put sandy glass in them.
  3. Depending on the orientation of the stairs or whatever block was placed and what direction you’re looking at it in, it’ll either look like sandy glass like it’s supposed to, or it’ll look like stone bricks.

I’ve got no idea if this can actually be reproduced, though.

Expected behavior: I expect that the stair should look like the sandy glass. (It’s not a transparent block, by the way.)

Tried using ArchitectureCraft with Sandy Glass, and this is what it looks like. It’s even worse! This must be an issue with EU2, not Blockcraftery. However, I am unsure as to why this didn’t happen when I placed the stairs a few days ago; it looked fine then. Also, EU2’s GitHub repository is an archive, and the Minecraft Forum post no longer exists, so I don’t know how to report this to the Extra Utilities 2 devs.
