Double Compacted Paxel Repair Recipe Disrepairs the Item #11

Exactly as the title states

When crafting the Double Compacted Paxel with any form of Cobblestone, the result has less durability than the original. Compacted Paxel works fine, Regular Paxel not tested

Minecraft 1.16.5, running around 60 something other mods (though my gut feeling is those aren't the issue, do tell me if I'm wrong though)

That's really interesting, I bet there's an issue with the calculation somewhere as I was attempting to support both the actual material as well as the compressed/uncompressed variants of it.
