FT-710 will not transmit

Hi. Have the latest version of FT8CN, v.0.88 All works as advertised using a Motorola android smartphone, lining to the rig with a (USB-B - to - USB-A cable) and a (USB A-to-C) OTG adaptor. I have tried a (USB A to C) cable but this will not permit the phone to recognise a radio. The decoding happens without issue, and everything works fine EXCEPT THAT the radio will NOT transmit. When the time comes to transmit, the rig is activated accordingly but no output ensues. Without a specific profile for the 710, I have entered the nearest available which is the FT-DX10 profile I have uploaded a screenshot of my settings Help!

Having considered the issues above, I investigated forcing audio to appear at the USB-c connector on my 'phone. It transpires that the availability of audio at the 'phone's USB-c connector has been removed as from Android 12! It cannot be restored in developer mode. One solution is to use a USB soundcard. Another technologically easier solution is to make a cable using a 4-pole 3.5mm connector for the 'phone's audio in and out, and connect this directly to the radio's mic and speaker-out connectors, with appropriate attenuators and DC-blocking capacitors. This should work for any version of Android to work with any radio, with no setup required. Of course changes in frequency at either end of the cable will not be reflected at the other, but this was never crucial. Of course this will not work for those 'phones that have no sockets at all. On a separate issue, is it possible to export a QSO log file in a format other than ADI eg XLS or CSV?

This would be much more useful for personal use than an ADI file. I cannot find a converter utility on the www.

Many thanks. I have a work- around meanwhile. I was made aware of an ADI to CSV converter at https://ad1c.us/software/ADIF_to_CSV/index.html which is read by Excel.
