if you see 404 error then you need change base_url config base on your url in this file :

application/config/config.php

@SabanMishriya , i think i can help with that. make sure your main htaccess file begins with a ".", for example, the project comes with an htaccess file without a DOT. so change is to this ".htaccess". hope it helps.
