As the Open-CE releases only support specific package versions, it might be useful to provide clear instructions on how to upgrade (this was asked on slack).
For the OSU conda channel, the conda channel is for a specific release of OpenCE, so the user must add / replace the channel (or create a new conda env using the updated channel. current is also not always the latest.
For the MIT channel, the single conda channel provides multiple Open-CE packages.
The supported / required python versions for Open-CE channels can vary, so a new conda env with an appropriate channel is probably required.
