Update Launchpad

There is an update to Launchpad which needs to be integrated.

• [ ] Test Sandbox on or after Thursday August 28th 2024
  • [ ] Make any needed changes to Sandbox
  • Note: Sandbox Cert Expiration happens on October 11, 2024
  • [ ] Use what was learned from Sandbox to make changes to the PROD configuration
  • [ ] PROD Config Changes must happen after Thursday September 12, 2024 but before the PROD Cert Expiration on October 17th, 2024

Important Dates

// Testing and Config can begin on or just after these dates
•   Launchpad Sandbox Cutover = Thursday, 28 August 2024
•   Launchpad Production Cutover = Thursday, 12 September 2024

// Testing and setup must be complete before these dates.
•   The Launchpad Sandbox certificate will expire on October 11, 2024.
•   The production Launchpad IdP SAML certificate will expire on October 17, 2024.

I ran a sample ingest on prod (3 days worth of PSScene3Band migration ingest). Discover and Queue Granules step: 55cfee1b-43ba-4cd1-8b80-edff57e5f161 Succeeded. Ingest and Publish step had successes and failures.
The fact that it had any successes means the ingest pipeline still functions, even without cert updates. The failures were all related to missing CMR files - which is unrelated to the Launchpad cert. So as of now, it seems the cert upgrade does not affect Cumulus. I'm closing this issue and will reopen if anything related comes up.
