Hi Cherrelle,

Here's a quick update on these tasks:

T.1. Host Preliminary meetings with Developers & SMEs for background on current state of science and current mission planning.

We have reached out to the Implementation Leads for the Pandora, TEMPO, & PBL solutions. For TEMPO: Dr Chance is in poor health, but we are meeting with Dr Liu in-person next week while he is Huntsville for the TEMPO Applications Workshop. For Pandora & PBL, we are still working on setting an exact day/time with them.

T.2. Collect names, affiliations, & contact info for previously identified stakeholders.

We've collected contact information for previously identified stakeholders, and the agencies included some additional names back in December. We are reaching out to the agencies/stakeholders now to determine if others within their organizations need to be included.

T.3. Host Initial/Kickoff meeting(s) w/ stakeholders

We're informing the original stakeholder list from December that we will host kickoff stakeholder meetings in mid-to-late May. Once we have the final contact list and meet with the Implementation Leads for each solution, we will set those kickoff meetings.

Hi Cherrelle! T.1 Will be completed by 2PM Central time this Wednesday May 10th! We have already met with the Implementation Lead for TEMPO last Friday 5/5, will meet with the PBL Implementation Leads at 3PM today, and Pandora tomorrow at 1PM!

T.2 This is currently ongoing - We have each reached out our list of stakeholders from the SNWG 2020 Assessment. We are also collecting more stakeholders from our discussion with our Implementation Leads.

T.3 Will be a task for next week as we will regroup on Monday 5/14 to discuss the next steps after talking to the Implementation Leads!🙂 We hope to send a WhenIsGood poll to get the maximum amount stakeholders to attend the Kickoff session which we plan to have in late May/early June!

Blurb (May 2023): SPoRT-IMPACT Collaboration for Stakeholder Engagement Formalized (mail to: pontus.olofsson@nasa.gov / 256.961.7097): The Satellite Needs Working Group (SNWG) Management Office at IMPACT is responsible for the stakeholder engagement related to SNWG solutions. For stakeholder engagement for the three of the solutions from the 2020 SNWG cycle related to air quality and weather forecasting, the SNWG Management Office has contracted the Short-term Prediction Research and Transition Center (SPoRT) at NASA Marshall. The contract is a five year plan that started in May 2023.

Hi Cherrelle,

Thanks for reaching out! Here is the latest:

1) The TEMPO NRT Pre-Formation Stakeholder meeting occurred last Monday, 6/12

2) The Air Quality/Pandora Pre-Formation Stakeholder meeting will occur next week (6/26 - 6/30) with the exact date TBD. A whenisgood poll was released last week, and we are waiting for final responses from the stakeholders.

3) 2) The MERGEE GNSS-RO/Atmos Sounder PBL Pre-Formation Stakeholder meeting will occur next week (6/26 - 6/30) with the exact date TBD. A whenisgood poll was released last week, and we are waiting for final responses from the stakeholders.

For items 2 & 3: Our contingency plan is to hold these Pre-Formation Stakeholder kickoff meetings after the 4th of July holiday (7/10 - 7/14) if we do not receive sufficient availability from the stakeholders and the implementation leads for next week.
