Need for HLS 10m version: Pontus attended meetings where this was a topic of conversation? There is no 10m version, but it was a hot topic in 2022 interviews. Not selected bc ESA is already creating a similar thing (Sen2Like [double-check that name]). Since then there has been a lot of research.

Natasha: Heard comment on HLS quality concerns. Had a convo with Rahul/Brian. Brian said there are known issues that are tracked on a website. Are Katrina and Pontus aware of this? Is there a response for this? QAQC expert at Goddard assigned to MODIS, Sadishiva(sp?) can be involved to assist if needed. Pontus: I attend weekly HLS at Goddard where we discuss. My understanding is that these aren’t major issues outside of the typical/norm. The HLS science team is pretty good at keeping track of this.
Heard of some conflict bt Goddard and Marshall re: implementation of this issue? Pontus: Haven’t heard. We seem to be on the same page. Pontus will participate in a meeting between NASA and USGS, but the issue is not necessarily HLS-related.
Pontus can ask the PI to provide a presentation. (Note the PI is a former colleague of Pontus. Be aware of potential Conflict of Interest perception)
