Posting this issue for ongoing discussion -

Request to take a look at CryoGARS Team's AWS Landsat image download approach and review

It would be great to get some feedback on:

how to efficiently grab data from a bunch of different cloud locations and pre-process the data before bringing it to a local repo
improvements Jukes' notebook for its current purpose
how Jukes' notebook can be applied to other datasets and if there are other processing steps we could add to make our lives easier - ome of the other datasets we use are MODIS, ECCO, ICESat-2, and ITS_LIVE among others.
