DOI GUI "Create DOI" processes DOI metadata when <publication_date> column is missing #385

๐Ÿ› Describe the bug

Submitted XLS with the "publication_date" (e.g., having value like "2022-10-01") column missing in XLS.

๐Ÿ“œ To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create DOI
  2. Has data been registered: NO
  3. Upload DOI
  4. See error

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Expected behavior

Expected a parsing ERROR indicating "publication_date" column is / was expected.

@rsjoyner similar to my other comment, does this really matter if we make sure they have that metadata when they try to actually release the DOI with a label?
