@beatricemueller, this set has been posted for NSSDCA processing. From tomorrow, you can check the status at https://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/psi/ReportPDS4.jsp using the SIP LID below:

SIP LID:

A friendly reminder, @beatricemueller and @jstone-psi, to keep your installation of the Validate tool as up to date as possible (currently v2.3.0, compared to v2.0.6 seen in your reports). The EN team has been diligently working on a number of bug fixes, and it's a safe bet that upgrading will address a number of errors (as seen in this comment, for example), which will result in less files being pulled and fixed (as indicated here and here).

On that note, the usual disclaimer did not appear with your submission. Confirming that the 58 products which threw errors are not part of the delivery package?

Thank you!

jstone-psi commented 1 year ago

Thanks, for the reminder, @c-suh! I've made sure that the current batches are running with 2.3.0. Of course, we won't see the effects of the upgrade until we've worked through out backlog.

c-suh commented 1 year ago

@jstone-psi much appreciated! I will keep that in mind (about the backlog).

beatricemueller commented 1 year ago

I omitted the disclaimer, as I didn't want to be too annoying. I can add it again for the next submission.

@beatricemueller the information is appreciated and not annoying! However, I understand that it is an extra step for you, so I'm alright with omitting the disclaimer as long as it's understood that the products with errors are being removed from the submission and that it's clearly communicated when this is not the case.

beatricemueller commented 1 year ago

Catherine, there is no problem for me to add the extra step. It will be a while before we submit another one, as we have to remove the superseded data since the last time and Jesse is working to automate that. I will explicitly ask him if the disclaimer will still be valid with the new procedure, and if not, I will point it out explicitly the first time we submit data.
