...so that the DOI API is accessible for the DOI-UI, with basic authentication (configured on pdscloud-prodX apache)

If I understand correctly, @tloubrieu-jpl, at this time we don't want POST operations to be enabled. So I am waiting for you to tell me when I should create the DSIO ticket.
