Looks like we are feeding the changelog generator the tag name we first get (e.g. release/1.0.0) instead of v1.0.0.
Also looks like SNAPSHOTs are still in the CHANGELOG. Maybe we are generating the CHANGELOG before we wipe out the existing SNAPSHOT releases?

CHANGELOG versions match up with the release names

Status: unable to reproduce. spinning up in sandbox environment
