  1. Go to View Account > Service History
  2. Enter Service History info,
  3. Select Run Calculation button.
  4. Select Trigger Bill button
  5. Select Show Sample Initial button to launch report.
  6. In the report, on the right hand side of the page, you will see the following column headers: From, To, Type.
  7. ERROR: The "Type" is showing "F" for all rows. It needs to correspond to the type of service period, which are: R=Redeposit, Period D=Deposit Period, F=FERS.
  8. ERROR: It is showing "F" (ie FERS) for all accounts, even CSRS.
  9. ERROR: It should be posting D for deposit and R for Redeposit.
  10. ERROR: The person's name does not show up on the bill.
  11. ERROR: A foreign address does not show the country or geo code.

The "Period Type" drop down contains "DEPOSIT", "REDEPOSIT", "Military", "LWOP", "NO EARNINGS", "Deduction Service".

There is no "F" for "FERS" option in the "Period Type" drop down, as described in (7) and (8)

Where should the person's name appear? Above Line #1 of the address?

What are the rules here? If the country is "United States" - do nothing more. If the country is NOT "United States" - do what exactly: append the country or geo code or both?

Thanks!

For item 7, the period of service shown on the show initial bill should indicate whether the service was Deposit (D) or Redeposit (R) for a CSRS case or F for a FERS case.

For item 10, the name must be place on the line above the first line of the address. For item 11, If the country is United Staes, do nothing. If the country is other than the United States, it and the GEO code must be visible within the address area. If you look at an initial bill that has an foreign address, you cannot see the country or GEO code anywhere on the bill.

Item (7) I am unable to reproduce: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fahelz3dl6mq4v7/66-point-7.mp4. It's possible that changes I made elsewhere have fixed this.

Great!

The name is not showing in the field above the address and the data in the bill is still discrepant.

The address issue appears to be addressed but this needs to be demonstrated on a case where the billing information is also correct (as initially reported).

Tested using a convoluted scenario adapted from the one in #70. I used as of date 8/9/13 so you'll need to cross check the results are legit

Shows the billing info and the initial statement with the correct F/D/R etc
