Service History - "Postal Flex and LT Deposit" Scenario Issue #63

Open dcieslicki opened 10 years ago

  1. Go to View Account > Service History
  2. Enter Service History for the Postal Flex and LT Deposit Scenario (see: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4MmZDLfhZYfZmFENzRFeTJjM2M/edit?usp=sharing).
  3. Select Run Calculation button.
  4. Select Save Calculation button.
  5. Select Trigger Bill button
  6. Select Show Calculation button.
  7. ERROR: The system does not compute postal part time flex deposits correctly. In the scenario we submitted, the postal flex time was 7.50/ hour and the time frame was 1.3 years with a deduction rate of 7%. The principal should be 1365.00 but the system computed 1367.92.

Cannot reproduce: if I set the as of date to 8/1/2013 (the date the "Calculation Explanation" was generated), the numbers I get match the numbers in the report!

After running a calculation, and selecting the "Show Calculation" button, are you checking to make sure that the report doesn't contain the discrepancies mentioned above?

joelc commented 10 years ago

It's entirely possible a fix elsewhere has remedied this... See video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4vflc1n4sk8fic0/SCRD-42.mp4

Looks like the video is for #42, not this issue (#63) :)

Please try entering a scenario for a brand new account vs. using the default account that has the saved scenarios. Need to make sure this works for established accounts, new accounts, or in the Create New Account wizard. If it does work, then we're all set! A good scenario to use is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4MmZDLfhZYfSHpLYlZXQzA2MUk/edit?usp=sharing

(See my 7/20 16:30 comment on #70 -- looks like it's working)
