Project 3D polygons in 2D mode #330

Description

Polygon's display in 2D projections (specifically Northern and Souther UPS/Gnomonic/Polar projections) doesn't match the geographical extents displayed in 3D.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Polygons Example
  2. Select the South Polar/UPS/Gnomonic projection

Expected behavior: [What you expect to happen]

The polygon spanning the North pole should match the geographic positions displayed in 3D and the underlying geographic system.

Actual behavior: [What actually happens]

The vertices of the polygon appear to be correctly positioned, but the connecting sides do not follow the same geographic paths.

Operating System and Version

Android 7.1.1/Chrome 62/Nexus 9

Confirmed in Windows 10/Chrome 62. Nice catch.
