Error when finalizing a submission with incomplete metadata #1

Describe the bug I got an error when tried to finalize a submission with incomplete metadata. I received a message saying “Error 500: Please contact your administrator!”.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enter only minimal information in Info, Study, Samples and Experiments
  2. Click the button “FINALISE” to complete the submission.

Expected behavior I expect that it should not be possible to click on the finalize button, or that I at least receive a message saying that the information is incomplete.

We have checked that this bug has been fixed, confirmed on 2023-04-03.
