Problem was found by @olyson when running the lnd_averages script using single
variable timeseries input.
@sherimickelson found and fixed a problem with the pyAverager attempting to incorrectly average
string variables, date_written and time_written.
Updated the pyAverager subtree to v0.9.12.
Tested with 11 years of timeseries data from b.e20.BHIST.f09_g17.20thC.216_01 and
postprocessing caseroot:/glade/p/work/aliceb/sandboxes/runs/b.e20.BHIST.f09_g17.20thC.216_01
