CUPiD is a “one stop shop” that enables and integrates timeseries file generation, data standardization, diagnostics, and metrics from all CESM components.
If we want to move forward with the catalog infrastructure currently built into nbscuid, a number of improvements should be made:
adding the capability to pass in a list of catalogs rather than just one, and managing that later on in the subsetting process
handling how the catalog .json file references the catalog .csv file - currently messy with hardcoded paths, as the path to the .csv file is pulled from within the .json file, which doesn't get updated if somebody else is using a copy of the catalog from a different location and doesn't have access to the original location.
