Problems with Macs and external monitors #2851

  1. Load any dataset and create any renderer (optional for lily, or the dataset below can be loaded on Casper)
  2. Go to the Geometry tab to show the "geometry manipulators"
  3. Attempt to drag one of the red boxes with a right mouse click. They should turn yellow and change the size of the red bounding box.

Tested on MacBook with Volume on HRRR. Dataset is in /glade/p/cisl/vast/vapor/data/Source/WRF/HRRR/ Does not work.

After importing this wrf file with my laptop open and attached to an external monitor, the camera is not centered over the domain, shown below. Whenever this happens, I'm unable to use the red bounding box controls

My secondary monitor is a DELL U2719DC Display - 27-inch (2560 × 1440)

Note: Changing the seconary monitor to being a "Primary display" fixes the problem. Move the white bar to the "Primary monitor" to fix. Screen Shot 2022-02-14 at 1 47 23 PM
