Clicking checkboxes in listboxes causes the list to reset to selected item 0

Describe the bug

In renderers listbox pane, variables listbox in Python derived variables form and other places, clicking a checkbox in a listbox causes the listbox view to reset to selected item 0, see video.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior. For example:

1. Go to renderer listbox
2. Scroll down few items
3. Click on checkbox
4. See the listbox rolling up to item 0

Expected behavior

I expect the list box to not scroll neither up nor down.
