Could you explain seed locking? I'm afraid i'm unfamiliar with this.

All of the seed lasers need to be maintained at a specific wavelength. They are measured with the wave-meter and adjusted as needed. The seed laser temperature is adjusted by a fixed step size and then wavelength checked until it is within tolerance. This needs to be changed to a PID control for faster response time.

It has since been discovered that seed locking also halts other processes in WVDial2 software such as data collection. This should not be desired behaviour.
