@cecilehannay would you be willing to submit another FMTHIST run --- this 008 run, but with c8=4.4? I need to evaluate the run 116 parameters in an PD F-case to know if I can potentially increase c8 a bit more than 4.4.

@adamrher I was hoping to replicate aspects of your simulation, but this setting fails to find the file at runtime: ncdata = '/glade/campaign/cgd/amp/juliob/ERA5/ne30np4/L93_cdf5/ERA5_x_ne30np4_L93_rgC2_WO_aero.2000-01-01-00000.nc' I see that the file is present, but nothing else works on it (e.g. copying the file) so the issue must be the permissions. Is this something that you could help me resolve?

If I misspoke and this case is not @adamrher's, should I be asking my question to @JulioTBacmeister, whose name appears in the ncdata path? Sorry if I'm confused :-)

Hi Sam, we probably should get you permissions to this campaign directory in the near future, but for now I copied the file into my scratch directory which you should have read access to:

/glade/derecho/scratch/aherring/restart/inic/ERA5_x_ne30np4_L93_rgC2_WO_aero.2000-01-01-00000.nc
