Does this mean to calculate the E and W limb medians, then just average them to find the rest wavelength? or to use the separate E and W medians for the rest wavelength for their respective sides?
@detoma says:
We use the average of the east and west median
rest wavelength = (median blue + median red)/2.
The final version of the calculation will be done by analyzing the results from a provisional level 2 run to create a model that determine a fixed value for the rest wavelength for a day.
The rest wavelength should be the average of the E and W limb medians.
