Hi @dnychka , I recently found out about the "issues" tab, and found it's really convenient. You can message someone by putting an "@" symbol before their username. Anyway, it looks like the fields repository is private. It's causing issues when trying to install the package directly from github using the install_github() function from devtools. Are you able to change it to public? Thanks, Johnny

Hi there,

I also run into an issue while installing the package. Below is what I got.

devtools::install_github("https://github.com/NCAR/Fields")
Error: Failed to install 'unknown package' from GitHub:
  HTTP error 404.
  Not Found

  Did you spell the repo owner (`NCAR`) and repo name (`Fields`) correctly?
  - If spelling is correct, check that you have the required permissions to access the repo.

I also tried using lower case as "fields" in the path. Got the same. Not sure if it's permission issue?

If you want me to help please identify who you are and what you are trying to do. Best Doug
