Use grey background for all Q, U, and L quicklooks #162

A grey background distracts the eye less. This is a request from Sarah.

[!NOTE] Time estimate: This issue, as stated, is complete. I need approval that this is an improvement.

Yes -- I am cc'ing Ula because I think she has had the same experience of having the dark masked portion block the structural interpretation of the linear polarization features. I think this looks good-- Ula, what do you think?
