NRP refers to an individual's nationality, religious affiliation, or political group. NRP's are an example of non-sensitive or indirect PII's, which are easily accessible from public sources like phonebooks, the Internet, and corporate directories. Non-sensitive information can be released to the public because this type of information cannot be used alone to determine an individual’s identity. Although it's non-sensitive information that does not mean it is not linkable. Non-sensitive data, when used in tandem with other personal information, can reveal an individual's identity. Once they have it an identity thief can use your name and information to: buy things with your credit cards, get new credit cards, or open a phone, electricity, or gas account.

Yes, it is good to emphasize that all information may be used to identify someone when aggregated with other personal characteristics. Non-sensitive is still important to malicious actors online.
