MVP2 'what may increase activity of mouse Dhodh' (various issues) #915

MVP2, what drugs may increase expression of mouse Dhodh:

  1. Surprisingly few results - just 12, all from Aragorn, all 'inferred'.
  2. The same query for human DHODH yields 1365. Sounds like a missed opportunity to transfer results between species (with the last hop reflecting the orthology relationship).
  3. All results have very low score (max = 0.72).
  4. Top result is Niflumic acid. Support path states that niflumic acid is similar to leflunomide, which interacts with Dhodh. BUT: leflunomide itself is surprisingly not among the answers.
  5. All 12 results show 0 Publications, 0 Clinical Trials, 0 Misc, 3 Sources. The three sources seem to be Hetionet for the 'similar to' edge, DrugCentral for the 'interacts with' edge, and Aragorn for the resulting inference. The source links send the user to the wiki pages, so overall there's barely any EPC for this dozen weak results.
