Translator consortium principles for publication #6

Closed diatomsRcool closed 4 years ago

Publication and Attribution Guidelines state: "Consortium members are appropriately represented, and that authorship and contributions are in line with Translator Consortium principles†. † Translator team members are encouraged to consider ICMJE guidelines for authorship and contribution."

Andrew Su comments: "Are there Translator principles that are distinct from the ICMJE guidelines? If yes, where are they defined? If not, just reference ICMJE here?"

@mellybelly ??

It seems as if we do need principles in excess of what is in ICMJE. Can we task the Publications Committee with coming up with these principles? @mellybelly @andrewsu

New suggestion. We can reference the ICMJE principles and say that if more are needed the committee will develop them.
