Description This task involves selection of candidate sentences to annotate followed by manual classification of sentences as having a particular relation or not.

The Multiomics Provider is interested in gene-to-biological process associations mined from the literature generally, and links to apoptosis and cell differentiation processes specifically.

Anti-apoptosis is a common way for abnormal cells including cancer cells. If we can have a better understanding of which genes are associated with apoptosis from text-mining, and if we know gene to gene interactions from multi-omics datasets, we may be able to find a way to induce apoptosis of abnormal cells. Similar to differentiation, we could also find ways to induce the differentiation of the abnormal cells.
