@dkoslicki @pg427 @brettasmi we don't see the control in your result sets - just as an FYI for tomorrow's discussion

dkoslicki commented 2 years ago

@sstemann Looks like it is actually there, but under the synonymous name SID50113272. See: https://arax.ncats.io/?term=Bortezomib

@sstemann Aragorn had gone unresponsive overnight, probably due to a big query. I'm guessing that this got run before we restarted it? I just ran the query and got some results:

https://arax.ncats.io/?source=ARS&id=20c0f109-2151-4c2d-95dd-369da9f98a87

No Bortezomib though. Is there a KP that is returning that edge?

pg427 commented 2 years ago

@sstemann The control is not shown as a result of an issue in the production environment for Explanatory Agent. We released a new update on Wednesday in the dev instance for Explanatory Agent, that has since resolved that issue and returns a new set of results for this query.

Our BTE endpoint was also down at the time this query was run -- not sure why, perhaps the same big query that affected Aragorn? In any case, BTE also returned results in the re-run that @cbizon linked above (though not bortezomib).

@MarkDWilliams @sstemann I think there is a problem with a query gene - the actual bortezomib target is PSMB5 proteasome 20S subunit beta 5 (NCBIGene:5693) and, in with lower affinity, Proteasome 20S Subunit Beta 1 (NCBIGene:5689) and Proteasome 20S Subunit Beta 2 (NCBIGene:5690). See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4508135/, figure 1.
