Hotel booked for 24 participants at the Upham

From Ginger: "I blocked 24 rooms with Marjorie at the Upham, arriving August 12; departing August 18. Here are cost details: 18 rooms at $149/night + tax and 6 rooms at $159/night + tax on week nights $260/night + tax (down from $285) on the Friday night Also, if there are international participants arriving early, rooms on Saturday, August 11, will be around $300 so let's stay in touch about international travel. "

tell Ginger we need one more room for reservations

Spoke with Ginger today, she did not think that adding one room to make a total of 25 rooms reserved at the Upham for this training. She is "calling Margarite now!" she tells me.

NB:

1. She has reserved a room for Matt at his favorite hotel (not the Upham)
2. At the Upham she reminds us that the Friday 8/17 rate goes up to $260/room. We may want to consider doing a shorter schedule on the Friday due to these costs. @mbjones to make a decision as needed.
