updated the DESCRIPTION file to include minimum R version and minimum R package versions
updated the .travis.yml file to include the same linux distribution as the server and r
updated the Readme instructions to work for slackr >= 2.0.0 to ensure cacheChannels = F

@csjx fyi - figured out the dependencies and everything to make sure it works on newer R versions >4.0 and bionic here.

That's great @laijasmine, thanks! So I'll try to reinstall R again and we can get together for the awards-bot install after that.
