I would like to highlight a feature called Data Portals that you might be interested in. Data portals enable related datasets, such as those that are part of a larger research project or organization, to be discovered together. It also enables some custom branding for the group or project. Here is an example page that we created for the Distributed Biological Observatory: https://arcticdata.io/catalog/portals/DBO. If you are interested in creating a portal for your datasets, you can get one started here: https://arcticdata.io/catalog/edit/portals/new/Settings. More information on how to set up can be found here: https://arcticdata.io/data-portals/, but as always we are here to help over email.
[x] specific text for nesting requests
Thank you for your inquiry. We recently decided that we are no longer supporting new nested datasets. We recommend to create a portal instead. Portals will allow more control and has the same functionality as a nested dataset. You can get one started here: https://arcticdata.io/catalog/edit/portals/new/Settings. More information on how to set up can be found here: https://arcticdata.io/data-portals/, but as always we are here to help over email.
[x] keywords
We noticed that there were not keywords for this dataset. Adding keywords will help your dataset be discovered by others.
[x] add citations
We would appreciate it if you could add the DOI of your published paper mentioned in the abstract. We are working to build our catalog of dataset citations in the Arctic Data Center. You can add this by clicking on the citation button by the orange lock icon.
[x] update pre-issued DOI email with new citation button info
We can provide you with a pre-assigned DOI that you can reference in your paper, as long as your submission is not facing a deadline from NSF for your final report. However, please note that it will not become active until after we have finished processing your submission and the package is published. Once you have your dataset published, we would appreciate it if you could register the DOI of your published paper with us by using the citations button beside the orange lock icon. We are working to build our catalog of dataset citations in the Arctic Data Center.
