Multiple images in the navigation panels are white with no outlines, which create issues when we update PDG to a light theme with a white background. For now, we're using temporary darker color variables to accommodate it. In the future, we should update the instructions to reflect the UX design so the use of colors is consistent with the rest of the page (Figma link).
