Add the metadata editor to the DataONE theme #319

When a user is signed into search.dataone.org and had write access to EML metadata in DataONE, they should be able to edit their EML and data files from search.dataone.org.

How would that work, Lauren? Would you write the metadata back to the authoritativeMN? What if the MN is a Tier1 MN? Also, some MNs wouldn't want their users to make changes, as they use a different process for updates, and wouldn't know how to accept the changes or merge them with their other process. Let's discuss please before you implement this on search.dataone.org. Thanks.

It's just an idea at this point and may be something we never implement since it would effect only a small portion of the content in DataONE. The user would need to have write permissions on an EML metadata document that is from a Tier 3 MN. Most if not all of that content will likely be from MNs operating MetacatUI anyway.
