@chutneyboy I wasn't at ESIP so may be missing the context here - how is citation count a measure of metadata quality? This seems to be more a measure of interest in the particular topic, researcher etc.
An argument for this this could be that this is an indirect measure of how well research is presented and documented/findable through metadata.
Umm. I don’t know Did we state somewhere that citation is a measure of metadata quality?
