Hi
The term Rat https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols4/ontologies/ncit/classes/http%253A%252F%252Fpurl.obolibrary.org%252Fobo%252FNCIT_C160998?lang=en and the term Rattus norvegicus https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols4/ontologies/ncit/classes/http%253A%252F%252Fpurl.obolibrary.org%252Fobo%252FNCIT_C14266?lang=en currently have the same NCBI taxonomy ID of 10116
The description for Rat suggests it aligns more closely with the Genus Rattus "Any of numerous species of rodents belonging to the genus Rattus and/or various related genera of the family Muridae" which instead should have the NCBI taxonomy ID of 10114 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Info&id=10114&lvl=3&lin=f&keep=1&srchmode=1&unlock
Could you look into this?
Many thanks
John
