Initiate Phase 2 of Doc Site Copy Editing

As discussed with Anna on 9/12 - we should re-engage with OCC in September to complete a second round of copy editing on the DS documentation site. We should continue to improve alignment and consistency with NCI's digital writing standards to maximize user/viewer experience on the documentation site.

During the first round of copy editing (in May 2024) we targeted these select pages:

For this second phase, Anna would like to target other key pages that are in high use (or expected to be in high use) by site teams. Additionally, we should consider pages that will be highly visited by OCPL and DOC leadership.

As examples, perhaps the header and footer component pages should be included in phase 2 (since many DOC site teams will use these pages to achieve level 1 DS compliance).

Which pages should be considered for this round of copy edits?

• [ ] Coordinate timing with OCC (likely Mel) to complete the copy edit
• [ ] Review copy edit notes and finalize intended updates to page content
• [ ] Complete updates to page content (will need to create separate tickets to update individual pages so that individual PRs are created)

To move this ticket into "Ready for Pickup", we need to define the list of pages that this applies to and coordinate timing with Mel. We should not move into progress until it Mel is ready to start it.
