Add option to pull arbitrary shapefile attributes during geometry coordinate conversion

Conversion to geometry coordinates from shapefile does not allow arbitrary shapefile attributes (i.e. a feature identifier or unique name) to be associated with output variables. Variables tagged as data variables will be also be written to the output file.
