Good morning @anardek , my first draft of the water level decomposition plots is now complete. I have added this content to the slide deck linked in the previous post. I think there may now be enough new content to warrant a meeting to discuss the results and next steps. If you agree, I suggest setting up a time to discuss in the next week.
Yes! That sounds great.

@anardek below is a slide deck with the results of my latest attempt to simulate the effects of the duckbill in 3Di. It has been a finnicky, iterative process. The 3Di weir mechanism that I have been using (per Nici's recommendation) replicates duckbills well in some ways and not so well in others. There are also more knobs I can turn in the simulation parameterizations (continuing to play with weir discharge coefficients, trying different structure controls besides weirs, changing pipe roughness coefficients), but I have been working on this for more than a week and it seemed like about time to stop turning knobs and start to prepare some results with duckbills to include in my draft paper for review.
There is a lot that went on behind the scenes to develop these simulation results, so I suggest that we meet in person so I can walk you through the process and results. As of right now, I could meet on 5/17, 5/19 or 5/23 to discuss. Please let me know if you have any availability during that time.

@anardek I have updated the slide deck linked in the previous post to include driver decomposition results from all 3 events. The results are pretty cool. I suggest a meeting when I am back at the end of next week to talk through finding and discuss next steps.

Good morning @anardek and @caseydietrich, I have finished the PowerPoint with draft result timeseries and figure captions for discussion on Monday. The slide deck is linked in this message. I do not think you necessarily need to review the slides prior to the meeting, but I am providing them anyways just in case you would be more comfortable reviewing prior to discussing. Looking forward to talking through things next week.
Hi @anardek, I have some exciting results to share to close out the week. I finished plotting 3Di simulation results at storm drains instrumented with SuDS. Those results with rainfall hyetographs from the same time periods are summarized in this slide deck. The results are generally encouraging. More detailed commentary can be found at the end of the slide deck. Let me know if you have any questions about the results.
Now that we have visualizations of the 3Di results, I think there are two things I need to do next:
Hope you have a good weekend!
