@georgebuzzell

We currently have active contents in a Training folder on Drive:

We also have old (inactive) content in a specific folder for the 2020 training on Drive:

In addition, we have an empty GitHub repo for future training content:

Three questions for you:

  1. Where would you prefer to store these going forward?
  2. May I migrate to your preferred storage?
  3. For how long do we need/want to keep old trainings? Specifically, should I save the 2020 EEG training as part of this process or place it in my "Recycling Bin" with an eye to future deletion?

@jessb0t good questions.

I think the plan is to move more and more to github. And, to use that empty repo for much of what is in the trainings folders now.

Yes, if it is straightforward to start migrating, that would be appreciated (for the current ones, not the old ones)

For old trainings on drive, please move those to an archive folder on drive. In the future, we might start moving trainings from the github training repo to an archive repo. But, I strongly lean away from any permant deletion.

@georgebuzzell

Since we're planning to do this in the fall semesters, why don't I create two subfolders on GitHub: 2020 (where I place the old EEG training) and 2021 (for the current stuff)? If that ever needs to be rejigged because you do it more frequently, that's easy enough to achieve.

In fact, how does this look for the repo to transition everything from Drive?
