Also, I believe the python-tutorial repo was created as an introductory repo for new lab members to get acquainted with Python. Perhaps this can be fleshed out in the future and set up on the wiki page? At the same time, however, there are already some great online resources that we could point people to.

Propose closing this issue at this time. With the creation of many new repos recently, consistency efforts will be per-repo going forward, but the heavy-lifting on labwide consistency has been achieved.
