In one of our early meetings, we have decided that the info icon would act as a button that would pop up the insect profile with an option to change the count number manually at the top of it. Is that no longer the case?

EDIT: we could place the photo option in that profile as well.

Martin and I thought the large info icon in top left of every insect icon was crowding the screen potentially, and might get annoying for people who go to tap in a count but accidentally get the info on insect profile. We would still like the count number to be manually changed at the top of each icon or within each insect icon, but in the demo we can't see how you reduce the numbers, only increase them.

Where would you like to have the number change option added then? Instead of an icon, we could use a long-tap to open up an extra screen with further options.

If we want to show 6 species per page then there wouldn't be enough space for a note above the species tiles on small-screen devices.

Ideally we would have the simplest display possible to allow users to tally the count but also to change their choices if a mistake is made (ie so you can plus or minus) without any complex long tap option. Sorry I'm probably not understanding the options very well, probably best to demo at the meeting if possible.

You have asked to remove the info icon (because it blocks the illustration; allows to tap accidentally?) so it is unclear to me how you would like the +/- to appear without creating the same effect as the info button.
