this is to try to correct #272

Coverage increased (+13.6%) to 78.352% when pulling 771f6375c298fa9b1a59bbdb53124a86c7983678 on hotfix/dyn_etc into c9279d260d036945f87f83ac13b90293449b08c7 on master.

I did add an integration test for the overall capability to assure it is functional, however the unittest for the _import_user function is not complete yet
