What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.30.253 (have 414 of Alpha but don't know how to use it), Windows XP 32-bit.

Details on the request:

Hi, I was just wondering if you'd get around to making a Beta version of the
simulator in a zip file (already compiled for us) that way us users without
programming knowledge don't have to keep waiting patiently to help out the
community of Tyrant / Fansite. I'm not expecting it to be done tomorrow, so
take your time, but i just wanted you to know that users such as myself are
anxiously awaiting for this release! Thanks for all of your effort Preatorian!

What it the problem with the alpha releases, besides that they contain bugs?
There is for example 414_mingw32.zip. Are you not sure what to do with this?
Should I include a readme file?

No, my point is, some users aren't as advanced in programming to begin to
understand - let alone care to learn due to extremely limited time during one's
day - how to use the Alpha versions. Normally, when Netrat was doing it, I
would download the file, extract the contents to the folder, and that's it!
It's easy, simple, and does not require any learning. All I ask is for exactly
that, as a Beta file.

Also, do NOT ask me why the "Type" is "Defect" and the "Priority" is "Medium"
because I had absolutely no say in those categories for placing this "issue"
in.

Well, downloading and extracting is exactly right.

The problem comes, I assume, on running this.

Unfortunately there is no graphical interface I can compile. The one NETRAT
used requires two additional programs to build which cost together -- better
sit down first -- about two thousand euros (thats two and a hald thousand
dollar). Thats five times the amount NETRAT asked for.
I hope you understand that I'm not going to invest that amount of money.

That leaves us with only one option: Build another gui. That's a lot of work,
and I really would like to do this, but this is nothing I can do quickly.

I understand the timely part, but the cost is a bit to take in. You're telling
me that there are no possible replacements of freeware on the net that you can
use to compile the graphical interface (or whatever you said)!?

Well, I am not certain. I will have to look into this in more detail.
